I enjoyed the close-knit community. I felt like everyone knew each other well which meant that I didn't have to worry about not knowing the people in my classes. Connecting with the teachers and staff was easy due to the small size; I knew I could go to any member of the staff for help. However, something that could change is the academics. The quality, as far as I know, of the classes is better than the local public schools, but the constant scheduling errors and lack of advanced courses due to operating on as few teachers as possible made it difficult to delve deep into areas that interest me. However, those courses that are offered are taught well and by some of the finest teachers I might ever know.

I have attended Saint Albert Catholic Schools since I was four years old. I will graduate this year. St. Albert has not only provided me with a fantastic education, but it has taught me valuable life skills along the way. I have made my best friends here- laughing, crying, and creating memories with them for the last 12 years. This school is not just a group of students. It is a family. We all support one another and face struggles together. As a community, we have experienced a few tremendous losses in the last two years. We have had two funerals take place in our high school gym. All of us coming together, mourning and celebrating lives, was a beautiful thing. I wouldn't change much- maybe just the occasional leaking ceiling tile or out-dated restrooms. But, then again, those things really just add character to this little school we are proud to call home.
We have found a home at St Albert since transferring in two years ago. We are thankful for the smaller class sizes and opportunities for our children to participate in a wide variety of activities. The St Albert community has been very welcoming. We're appreciative of our leadership, teachers and staff and look forward to a bright future.
