As the 2020-2021 school year comes to a close, I can’t say enough positive things about SSPJ. Every morning begins with the principal greeting each child for COVID temperature checks and words of welcome, encouragement and blessing. The anxieties of the outside world disappear as they enter into a positive, productive learning unparalleled by any I have ever encountered. My grandsons will enter first and sixth grades in the fall. Watching them soar to new heights in their spiritual, academic and social lives is a testament to the mission of SSPJ and everyone who works there!
Two of my children attended Saints Philip and James School. I looked at a minimum of 5 other schools because we have lots of good choices in this area. We chose this school because in addition to great academics, and appropriate class size, values are at the core of everything they do. I found that each teacher grew to know my children as individuals with all their strengths and weaknesses (opportunities for growth). My children were well prepared for excellent private and public high schools and for great college and career success.
All four of our children got an outstanding education here in all capacities: academic, religious, and psychosocial. They attended prestigious high schools and colleges and were completely prepared for what lie ahead. I cannot recommend this school highly enough!! Probably of most importance, they are caring, compassionate young men and women of integrity.
