My experience with Spruce Creek High School was great! I am currently a senior at the High School and is currently dual enrolled at Dayton State College. Ever since this year has started only having one period at the high school I begin to miss the high school atmosphere. Going into adulthood very shortly with college, work, and life ahead of me I will miss the four years of my high school life and I will admit that I am glad I was able to spend the past four years of my life at Spruce Creek. Once a Hawk always a Hawk!

Generally the school is very clean and safe. The fact that the IB program is offered here makes it a lot better than many of the other high schools in the area. There are many amazing teachers and staff that genuinely want you to succeed. Through this IB program at my school I was able to graduate with over 40 credits towards my college degree! This was because of the teachers and program provided. Also it had one of the best band programs in the area which gave me an extra curricular activity to keep me active and help me learn the art of playing the guitar
My overall experience at Spruce Creek has been very impactful. Moving from Las Vegas, Nevada and not knowing anyone, it was very easy to get involved. Joining Varsity cheerleading freshman year, I had easily found my place at school and a group of people I have gotten to know and become very close with. To further get involved I had joined the club CSALT- Creek Student Ambassador and Leadership Team, which aided in the organization of pep rallies, community service events, and freshman orientation. Senior Year I was able to join the National Honor Society, furthering my contribution to the community and my school through a variety of service projects. Academically, junior year I had taken AP Spanish which has inspired me to continue studying the language in college and possibly study abroad in Spain or Latin America. Similarly, I found Anatomy was very interesting as it had validated my desire to pursue a career in medicine.
