Teachers and administrators are really involved in helping students reach their maximum abilities. They try to assist students whenever they can, and are always happy to help when needed. Our principal, Mr. Bush, is very fair and doesn't favor certain students. We have had issues involving this with our last principal. He is fairly strict on the dress code to ensure that our school looks better because of how our students dress. I believe that our school is a great school to attain a high school education, and also has a great staff that truly cares for their students.

Our school has fairly good healthy food options. They are required to provide a certain amount of each food group. While I think it is important for students to eat healthy, some might not like those kinds of foods. What our cafeteria ladies cook is great, but not all students will eat what they are required to make by law. A lot of this food gets thrown away, and is wasted. This is not an issue with the cafeteria staff, but with the higher powers that make them provide certain things. I believe that you can not force someone to eat healthy. A lot of food will just be wasted. We are provided with many fruits and vegetables, along with different juices and milk. Our school is not large enough to have a large menu selection. There is usually only one or two food options each day.
I have always felt safe at our school. We have a good health program, and students understand many important concepts of health. Bullying sometimes happens at our school. Bullying happens everywhere. I feel like the teachers and staff do a great job of trying to prevent possible bullying occasions, and inform students of the risks of bullying. Our doors stay locked during the day and only open if you call to the office through the camera.
