Springfield High school of Science and Technology was a wonderful school. Sci Tech has a plethora of great staff. The faculty members at Sci Tech strive for greatness. Many staff members go the extra mile for students. Doing things like staying after school or giving up their lunch break to aid students. At Sci Tech the overall atmosphere is extraordinary. My school has great extra curricular activities and clubs. Such as Band, Njrotc, and Anime. We have had various field trips and community events to showcase our voices and talents. When it comes to athletics our coaches and volunteers work hard day and night. To ensure students such as myself and peers balance academics and sports.
Overall, Scitech is a very great school. It may not be the best in everyone’s opinion but I’ve been having a pretty good experience! The administrators make you feel very comfortable and everyone there accepts you for you. What I would like to see change is the lack of beneficial classes. I believe there should be more classes that prepare you for the real world because from what I’ve heard its not easy.
I liked how no one discriminates against one another and how everyone respects each other as in no bullying. I liked the environment majority of teachers set up in the classrooms, as in they made the classroom a safe environment where you can always ask your teacher for help and they will give it when needed as well as you can always ask questions without the need to be judged by other classmates. The teachers give us room to grow without the feeling of judgement. Sci-tech is an overall good school, the students however sometimes need to be disciplined well enough so there is not as many physical altercations as well disrespect with teachers. What needs to be changed is the enforcement of the rules for students.
