it is clear that the staff is not caring about its students, especially guidance and Teachers are insensitive if you don't have money or influential parents. The school is overly strict, how are you gonna regulate stupid phone rules more than the blatant racism that goes on here ?
I enjoyed going to Springboro Highschool, and in all honesty I think I’m going to miss it. Most of the teachers there are excellent. They really care about you. Springboro is trying to improve on gender equality and being more accepting of progressive views and LGBTQ+ youths. It’s disappointing they still struggle with some colorism issues. They also don’t take many complaints about teachers, or bullying very seriously. Not very big mental health advocates. I really think the good teachers make up for it. The teachers were genuinely my favorite part of the school day. I really enjoyed it there.
Springboro is a great school. The teachers are very caring and good. The kids are all nice and their is a good environment.
I feel comfortable at Springboro high school. Springboro is a safe school that has good programs for education, clubs, and sports.
I've only been at Springboro for half a year now but it's been pretty easy to adjust. The school building and facilities are nice and the counselors and staff are great. The teachers are nice people but their ability to teach well definitely varies some of the teacher are excellent and make you wonder why they don't want to pursue something that would make more use of their knowledge and other teachers are just okay. I do wish they gave the students key cards to get into the building like the other schools I've gone to did because some of the parking lots are far and you have to enter through the front.
Springboro High School is a very nice school, and the experience I have there is very positive. However, a few moronic policies put into place by the administration bring out the few complaints I am able to come up with.
I love the wide variety of classes that are available here! There really is something for everyone at every level, whether that is general or AP. The staff members are really supportive here and they truly help every student to achieve their goals.
Springboro High School is a good public school, with broad class choices and many different course levels. The classes prepare you for college, the teachers are there to support you, there are many sports teams and school clubs you can join, and the school spirit is high on gamedays. Overall, it is a good school.
In my experience at Springboro High School, I generally felt very safe and cared for. Springboro expects a lot out of their students making their average test scores pretty high. Something I would change is the overall pressure that you have to know what you want to do with your life by the time you're a junior. It generally made my class very stressed out and nervous, hoping that they make a good decision as it changes the rest of their life.
Springboro High School is an amazing school to go to when you are looking at the education and academics. Socially, it is very much like a typical high school with cliques, however everyone fits in somewhere. I do feel that the school board could work on being less traditional. As a girl, I did feel that the dress code is very sexist and unfair. Along with this, I have friends who have felt discriminated against due to their race. Another way I feel the school could improve is by having better sex education. While I understand the topic is taboo, it is extremely important that teenagers understand ALL of the information about sex. I feel that Springboro only teaches abstinence only and uses scare tactics. Aside from these downfalls, Springboro is a great place to learn and grow in your academics.
I am currently enrolled in Springboro High School and I genuinely enjoy going to school everyday. I participate in our school's Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps and their drill team. I have found a great sense of belonging and responsibility. The teachers who work at the school really care about their students and are ready to help them not just with academics, but also with personal problems that they might be struggling with. There are many clubs that you can become apart of whether you are interested in world affairs, art, or even knitting. I feel safe, challenged, and wanted at Springboro High School.
I like that, in general, people of any gender and race have a fair chance to succeed both academically and socially. I dislike, however, the lack of diversity in the school. The school is primarily made up of white kids. Overall, I enjoy the opportunities I have available at my high school.
My experience at Springboro High School so far is that many of the teachers are amazing and caring, much more than the regular faculty. The school counselors are terrible and provide absolutely no help, that was at least my experience. The clubs that are held are excellent, as well as the after school events such as homecoming. However, the school tends to glorify sports teams way too much, instead of focusing on the organizations that truly build the most character, such as JROTC.
Springboro High School overall is a fun place for student activities and clubs. However, it is clear that the staff is not particularly caring about its students, especially guidance. Programs such as the Junior ROTC is a great way to make friends and make your high school experience more meaningful and memorable. The nicest teachers are any teachers involved in science classes, and provide the most active learning courses. The custodial staff are some of the nicest people working in Springboro High School, as well as the lunchroom staff. Overall, Springboro has its flaws but is a good school altogether.
I've loved my experience at Springboro High School. Springboro has amazing teachers and a wide variety of classes that really help to teach information in an informative and interactive way. There are also many clubs and sports to join that make it easy for anyone to get involved within the educational environment Springboro provides. The teachers and staff at Springboro High School are very friendly and are always willing to help with any problems or confusion a student may have on an assignment or any other piece of work. I have been able to take many different types of classes at SHS that I would not have had the ability to take at my previous school, such as French and Biomedical Sciences, which have helped me to dive deeper into my education and led me to decide what I want to study at the collegiate level. The only thing I would change is the clarity of communication between the school and its students, as this sometimes can be confusing for students to follow and understand.
The staff is truly amazing. They are there to help you with anything you could possibly need. The classes are very rigorous, and a very wide variety of classes are offered at different levels. Through my four years at SHS, there has been a clear effort to add new and interesting classes for students to take.
I have been going to Springboro schools my entire life. I didn't care for the district until I entered high school. This switch changed my whole view on the city and the district. Here I had teachers that didn't care so much about my grades but instead about my learning! This was new to me and I liked it. This experience made me enjoy learning and going to school. I made more friends and the teachers are phenomenal! I cannot speak highly enough about this school. I would recommend it to anyone entering freshman year. The best teachers I have had here are Mrs. Franks, Mrs. Lewellen, and Mr. Holweger
