Spring Valley Academy Reviews

Wehave had one child that has graduated from Spring Valley Academy, and one who will graduate this year. Our first son started at Spring Valley his senior year, and his only regret was that he wasn’t there sooner. He loved it! Had so many great opportunities for learning local and abroad. Made many great Christian friends and was able to take college level classes, which gave him a head start in his engineering degree. He enjoyed the sports and music programs Spring Valley offered.
Our second son has been at Spring Valley Academy for what will be five years. He has taken vantage of all the amazing opportunities that Spring Valley has to offer, especially the band and choir trips that go throughout the nation performing. He too, is involved in the sports programs and has made many great friends. Spring Valley is a great God centered environment where kids can get a great education.

I've been at SVA for most of my life, starting in 2012. It's a private religious school based around the religion of Seventh Day Adventism. I've grown to appreciate the interactions between students and teachers and the principles this school upholds. The best parts are probably the lifelong friendships with old classmates and new ones that may come a little later. When you're surrounded by other people who have around the same ideals and rules that you follow, it's easier to establish a genuine connection. There are so many opportunities to interact with others while also gaining something in return. The amount of diversity in SVA is amazing. more than half the school is international students. The sports program is very nice as well as the outstanding music department. Some things that could change for the better would be the more accepting nature of those who are a little different than us. There are a few other things that I would like to see changed, but I ran out of characters.
I've had 3 children graduate from Spring Valley Academy. I love everything about this place. The teachers are top level professionals and they do their jobs with tremendous heart and mission. The music department is unbelievably great. I am just incredulous at the musical excellence and programing brilliance of every single concert. The international trips are life-changing. The diversity of the student body is really wonderful. The cultural richness of this place makes for an education in itself. I can't imagine a better school for any kid no matter the age or grade level.
