Ever since Freshman year to my Senior year, the only good qualities I have to share is that the teachers have colorful personalities: some very funny, some boring, some carefree, some I question teaching and more. The principle is very authoritative and other times she is laidback, she is even the leader of the anime club. Now for things that I wish to change: nearly everything! The food is a mixed bag; you’ll either be stuck with stoned hard or barely cooked cookies to chicken sandwiches that would give you food poisoning (happened to me twice in high school). When it’s storming outside, some parts of the school’s ceilings leak and one section of the school floods. Lockers that no one uses anymore, a bunch of good teachers left for different reasons resulting in shortage of teachers and substitutes. Despite all these setbacks, I managed to get a High GPA, non-weighted, make an animation/digital art club, and made new friends. Just wish this school was less rundown.

Spring High School is a good school, with great teachers, over the years things have changed drastically. As a freshman there was a new principal, which changed many things, the school was chaotic. Once I arrived to senior year, things had calmed down immensely, Principal Melendez was putting things in order, really I’m proud to have attended Spring High School and to have been a Lion!
The School has a lot of ethnic diversity, it is spread equally among White, African American, and Hispanic students. Most of the teachers are willing to work with you on assignments and are often very flexible, which is good for those students involved in extracurricular activities. This academic year the school has been changing and it has been providing its seniors and juniors with a lot more opportunities regarding college and scholarships. One thing that needs to be encouraged more within the school, is the extracurricular activities offered. The academic standard, needs to also change in order to graduate seniors that are more college ready.
