One of the things I really like about Sprayberry High School is the diversity. Also, its mix of school pride and academic determination. I also like that all the teachers are there to help you and teach well. Lastly, the students that are always welcoming and friendly especially coming from a student that didn't come from a zoned middle school. However, some of the facilities can be sort of outdated like some of the classrooms and bathrooms but we are often getting renovations since the school was built in 1952. Other than that, it's a great school to go to with great opportunities and the area around is fun to go to afterschool because we have a Chick-Fil-A across the street and other restaurants and is safe. Overall, a great school!
It is a very diverse school! MOST of the teachers are dedicated to helping their students succeed, while others (only 2) are set in their ways and do not care about certain student's success. Overall the school is a very good place to succeed. The administration is very selective on how they handle discipline to certain students- a very biased team of administrators. MULTIPLE community service opportunities, clubs, sports, and programs to stay involved.
Good school! Most teachers are helpful when you have problems understanding the material. I really like the built in academic opportunity (AO) sessions several times a week. This allows all students the opportunity to get tutoring. I like the multiple tutoring opportunities...before school, after school, or during AO.
