Over the past 6 years of being at Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, I've learned so much about myself and the career path I'm willing to take once I graduate. From middle school, all the way to my senior year, the facility members at this school are open to discuss what classes are the best fit for me and willing to teach new material. The diversity and knowing that staff members at this school want the best for students is what makes this a great fit for any student who is willing to learn more than just classes but to learn what life will be like on our own. No school is perfect, especially when everyone has their own experiences, so one thing that does improve at Sports & Medical Sciences Academy is the drive and seriousness many students take for granted leading up to graduating high school.

SMSA is an excellent school from grades 6-12, that literally prepares you for college. It has great academic choices as well as AP classes and Uconn classes that help get college credit right before even going into college. The classes are great, the teachers are great, there’s a lot of diversity at SMSA. That is something I like about my school, you can meet people from different countries and make great friends. SMSA, is a really excellent school, the staff cares about you and your well being at school if you have trouble with your classes or personal stuff there are counselors who will be there to hear you out and do their best to help you. I love SMSA!
In some ways, I feel as though my education has been limited, but in other cases I feel as though it is more directed into a field. I attended SMSA because my sisters loved the school and spoke well of the teachers and education they received. In my case, we were faced with budget cuts that not only cut music, art, sports, but our classes as well. Teachers were never the issue in this school, all they demanded was respect from the students, which they didn't always receive. By attending this school, I expereinced exposure to what a multi-cultural society will look like. I will never forget the friends and lessons I have learned at this school. I will also never judge people based on their background, culture, or race because one should not be judged by the color of their skin. I believe that in today's society, everyone should prove what kind of person they are and not be reminded by the mistakes made in the past.
