SMSA is an excellent school from grades 6-12, that literally prepares you for college. It has great academic choices as well as AP classes and Uconn classes that help get college credit right before even going into college. The classes are great, the teachers are great, there’s a lot of diversity at SMSA. That is something I like about my school, you can meet people from different countries and make great friends. SMSA, is a really excellent school, the staff cares about you and your well being at school if you have trouble with your classes or personal stuff there are counselors who will be there to hear you out and do their best to help you. I love SMSA!

Hello, my name is Elma
I am a junior at Sports & Medical Sciences Academy. Their main goal is to prepare us for college and to graduate. My overall experience with SMSA has been great. Since freshman year I have learned so much! The staff really cares about the students and the principal is always making sure we're learning in a safe environment. That's exactly how I feel at SMSA, safe. Although the rules are to keep us safe I do disagree with some of them and would hope to see a change in the future. Also a huge number of kids would agree our school lunches could be better.
The thing I like most about this school is the different classes and electives the school offers. There is a wide variety of classes to choose, ranging from medical terminology to marketing and entrepreneurship. The school offers many AP and ECE classes that can be used for college credits. The teachers are great at teaching their subjects and are ready to help students when they don't understand.
