Splendora High School has amazing teachers that truly care about the well-being of their students. However, the poor facilities and lack of diversity is something worth noting. Academics can be quite beneficial and challenging, but they can also be very easy as well as riddled with issues.
Personally, I had teachers who made my experience a good one. The school itself is not that great, the bathrooms are somewhat clean and the entrance, in springtime, is covered with beetles. The population is mostly Caucasian and Hispanic. This can result in many problems throughout adulthood.
Courses offered at this institution can be rigorous and challenging, but the on-level classes have chronic behavioral issues. This school does offer college courses so that students can graduate with their associate degree. They also have advanced placement courses that are regulated through College Board but taught in school by teachers. There is a CTE program that allows students to be certified in a trade.

The community of Splenora high school is one of the most welcoming enviornments I have ever been apart of. The teaching staff is always kind and helpful, even if they do not know your name. Throughout my four years of high school, I have learned more than just academic lessons, the staff has taught me lessons to better my life after schooling. During tragities such as hurricane Harvey, the Splendora ISD district came together to help their students recover from the damage brought by flooding and debris by offering cleanup help, free lunches, and more. More fortunate students who did not suffer damage to thier homes, due to loctation, got together to help students and the community around us. The school has created a sense of togetherness that transfers outside of the walls of the school. Some changers are needed, such as not targeting boys for dresscode. Most powerpoints and announcements on dress code have to do with girls. So, the administration should begin to be less strict.
My experience at Splendora High School has, overall, been a good one. The best part about attending this school is the early college program. Students who enter this program can, as long as they stick it through to the end and complete their credits, potentially graduate high school with an Associate's of Arts or Science. For the most part, the teachers at Splendora High School are very experienced and hardworking. The main thing about Splendora that is less preferable, however, is their punishment system. The entirety of the school is often dealt punishments (such as limited bathroom use, which violates a student necessity) in response to a small group of students misbehaving. This sort of thing does not happen often, though, and is honestly the only con I can think of in regards to Splendora. The district in general provides great educational opportunities and resources to its students, and I would certainly recommend attending.
