The school doesn't have much diversity or a diverse out look. I've had a couple problems having to do with racial problem and the people are not very welcoming at all. I didn't have a very good experience and this school. They have good enough academics .
I like Sparkman Ninth Grade school because they offer lots of resources such as counselors and readiness classes. They ensure that I am ready for the next step after high school and that I can ask for help if needed.
At sparkman 9, it’s very updated. The teachers are nice and so are the staff. It’s clean and very well kept. I love the TV’s that they have that show the announcements of the day. They’re very useful.
I've had a nothing but amazing time spending time learning, and taking part in all of the different organizations S9 has to offer!
There are many great things that come with attending Sparkman. For example, I like having a separate Ninth Grade school because it eases us into what it's like to be in High School. he teachers are great as well! However, one downside is that the we Ninth Graders move up to be Tenth Graders, it will give us the nervousness that going to a new school includes, because, once more, we will be the youngest in the school.
At break we have to stay on the same floor as our 1st period. Mrs Macbeth is extremely too difficult.
I think Sparkman is made to seem worse than it is. We aren't all too awful.
there is a good amount of clubs and teams you can do to be apart of the community
some teachers just need to teach and actually run the class and when someone asks for help dont look at them like they are stupid
the school could do better if we had better funding
This school lacks in efficient resources needed for students to thrive in education the computers are out dated and the wifi is terrible you cant access the needed websites to do assignments.
Most teachers dont teach they just tell.
I love how this school is so warm and inviting!
The 9th grade school has a scaled down assortment of extra curricular activities compared to the high school, but it gets the students started in them. We found the activities our child did were well run by faculty and valuable enriching experiences for her.
