I have loved my time at SWCS and will be sad to leave it next year. The school has great students and great teachers, and I have had much fun there over the course of my elementary, middle school, and high school careers. The band program is good. Teachers are passionate. The school family is very close-knit and has dealt with tragedy, but the teachers and staff were there for the students emotionally.

I would like to see a greater emphasis on keeping the facilities in order, particularly the bathrooms.

I first attended Mustang High School, and I'd have to say that transitioning from public to a private school was extremely difficult and different. However, the Southwest Covenant student body and faculty made the process bearable and they welcomed me with open arms. I'm in an environment where judgement is minimal and I have the ability to voice my opinions and beliefs without being thought of as an outcast or someone not worth listening to. The curriculum is challenging and the teachers push us into going the extra mile on a whole different level than I'm accustomed to. All in all, my experience has been swell.
Southwest Covenant has prepared me with a strong educational foundation while also emphasizing the importance of a Christian worldview. I have had the opportunity to be involved in many activities such as Student Government and sports which further allowed me to practice my beliefs through my character and motivations.
