Southwest Chicago Christian school has been a huge blessing to our family. We have sent all 5 of our children there from kindergarten through 12th grade. They have all had extremely positive experiences, and hold the school in high regard. The teachers are caring, committed, and strive to help each student reach their academic goals. They offer a variety of extracurricular activities and have excellent coaches, directors, and volunteers who lead these activities. We highly recommend Southwest Chicago Christian School!

Awesome! The experience that my family has had with Southwest Chicago Christian Schools has been amazing from the first phone conversation with admissions. Such a warm welcome. I wanted to make sure my children had a strong foundation and SCCS does that on ever level. Not only are the teachers dedicated and passionate about teaching their students about Christ, they are determined to building long lasting relationships with the families. It amazes me every time how well the classrooms are conducted. I often joke and ask the teacher if she could come home with us because she does not have to raise her voice at all to get them to do what she says. My children have gained a greater appreciation for their teachers and love them so much. It is truly a blessing to find a school that puts the students first.
Overall a good experience. I don't regret sending him there at all. However..

There is a definite bullying issue that needs to be addressed better.

This last year get's the lowest rating. My son was so upset the previous 8th grade teacher left, but I encouraged my son to give this new teacher a chance. The new teacher was ridiculous. I can't believe that they thought she'd be able to do the job. So far my son has hardly learned a thing in her classes, and even he's getting frustrated. I'm frustrated because the quality of his education this year diminished because of the schools selection, and my tuition money paid for it. Now I see that the teacher has stepped down midyear. Who knows what this class is going to experience for the remainder of the year, or what my tuition money will pay for. It's a real shame.

Do better for the future 8th graders. They deserve a great ending to middle school!
