Southfield Chrstian School is a place where excellence is harbored and brought out of the students and staff alike. The School motto “Pursuing excellence for the glory of God” is clearly demonstrated in every little detail. In order for a student to participate in any school supported extra curricular, they cannot have a failing grade in just one class. The teachers genuinely care for the students at the school. Teachers stay after school for hours with students to answer questions and tutor them until they know the material. Teachers do a very their students for higher education. Southfield Christian lacks diversity in schedule. There aren't a lot of specialized classes that help students learn skills that are applicable to what they want to do professionally. In Conclusion Southfield Christian School is a school that is cemented in its beliefs. Staff genuinely cares for the students and wants to see them grow, change, and be successful for the rest of their lives..

It was tough finding my very bright and compassionate child the right middle school. Several friends and colleagues suggested SCS. We couldn’t be happier with this choice. The school supports and challenges my child academically and spiritually. The course work is rigorous and consistent. My child is learning more about the Bible than even I know. It is a safe environment and each time I volunteer the students behavior towards me and each other is impressive. This is my child 3rd year and there has never been a fight in the school. I did not give a 5-star rating b/c the area of improvement I see is more diverse extra-curricular activities/clubs for the middle schoolers. The students are talented and bright; they need more opportunities outside of the classrooms to serve as leaders and contributors in the school space. Also, look into grant sponsored clubs so that students can participate without a fee. Paying $100+ to participate in a school club greatly limits student involvement .
Southfield Christian really prepared me for college. It was also diverse and so I was exposed to different cultures before graduating high school. SCS also has a variety of sports available from elementary school to high school. The teachers are very helpful as well. They truly do care for you and want to help you. The teachers are very invested in their students, both in school and outside of school. You often see teachers and administrators at various sporting events. I went to SCS starting in kindergarten and graduated from there as well. I very much enjoyed my time there.
