Southfield Christian is a wonderfully Christ-centered school. Thus, its education and faculty are very intentional no matter who the student may be. The student teacher relationship is one of a kind. The only thing is the rules. They are bit stifling and seem to be piling up as the years progress. However with development, students may find a way to voice their opinions and input. Therefore with better student-administration communication the culture of the school can improve without shutting down school personality. In sports, coaches truly care for their athletes and desire to see improvement. More resources and time for sport training would be helpful. When it comes to college readiness, SCS is on top of things. They are updated and ready to apply the latest to the school. College isn't intimidating because of the challenging yet achievable education Southfield Christian offers. Overall, SCS is a stellar school for any student who desires a impactful education.

I graduated from SCS back in the early 2000's. I look back on those times and appreciate the oneness that the faculty and staff displayed. Each teacher had an expectation of the students that we would do our best to glorify God. Regardless of whether or not the teachers agree on teaching style, curriculum, or grading, they held us all to the standard that matters most. There have been many times where I recall something from my education and am surprised to find out that it's still there. The music department was my niche while I was there and I continue to recount the adventures my friends and I had during junior high and high school. I would recommend SCS to any family who wants a Christ centered community.
I had three students attend SCS from Elementary to graduation. Prepared for college: excelled in writing papers, math readiness. All three students tested out of some 1st year college classes. All three received academic scholarships and out side scholarships. Values followed what we taught at home and all three love the LORD and are serving him in their profession. Highly recommended.
