Southfield Christian is a great school! The class sizes are very small, but there is still a good amount of diversity in the student body. The staff is not as diverse, but they are starting to expand. The academics are challenging and the teachers are engaged and show an obvious love for their subject. The sports are great. Most students come and support each team and the school spirit is growing bigger and bigger each year.

The teachers at Southfield Christian School are highly qualified to teach in their area of expertise and do so with steadfast devotion. Not only do they provide challenging lessons, but also reinforce teaching kids to accept their peers who are unique with kindness and compassion. After searching for the "right fit" Christian school based on diversity, rigorous Christ-centered college preparatory academic excellence, safety, staff, gifted/talented teachers, and the fostering of positive peer relationships, our family already feels indebted to SCS for proving to be authentic and not compromising their Christ-centered core values.
Southfield Christian is a great school all-around because the academics there challenge you to be a better student, the teachers take the time out of their day to get to know their students, and the extracurricular activities are not only beneficial, but they excel far above average. As a former student, I liked the fact that SCS was so much more diverse than in past years. Everyone can come together united. With it being a smaller environment than most, it allows for students to get to know each other better and have a family type of relationship with one another. You learn how to develop relationships with people outside of your grade and it helps you to stretch outside your comfort zone by talking to people that you wouldn't normally talk to. Overall, I would say that Southfield Christian is an excellent place to send your children, especially if you want them to receive a good, Christian education.
