South Salem High School Reviews
Rating 3.95 out of 5 399 reviews
The management at this school is excellent. The organizational structure is very good and the teachers work together a lot. The environment is very fun. The teachers and staff are very supportive of students and especially within the IB program, it's easy to make strong relationships with fun teachers that really care about their students. The quality of education is very good, aside from the lag that came with coming back from online school, but that goes for any school. Overall, South is an excellent high school!
The network and atmosphere of the highschool had in general been one that is very positive. There were a students coming from a range of different backgrounds and there was always a welcoming and visable support for many diverse communities. The teachers themselves are practically one of souths finest gems. From counselors to career coaches and even class to class teachers were all amazing and gave their all to forming and strengthening connections to their students. The student body holds a very open mindset and upholds a positive and hardworking mentality and study ethics amongst upperclassman that naturally spreads on to the next classes. Overall the experience at south is a great one with little to no downsides.
I just graduated from this school and although every school has its downfalls, the experience was fairly beneficial! The culture of the school is very inclusive and promotes some of the best learning in the whole district.
