I liked the fact that each grade was assigned one teacher. This way less time was spent running through halls trying to find your class. The teacher was always ready to provide answers for questions asked. Since the school was small, everyone knew your name so you never felt left out. However, the material taught there isn’t remotely comparable to what public schools are teaching. Most of the material since it is a Christian school revolves around that and that’s mostly what you learn about. It lacks on college readiness.

I attended SOCA from 3rd to 12th grade. The staff were very caring, the curriculum was advanced, and they did have sports (2003). It was a small school and although it didn't have a huge lab, state of the art classrooms, the staff, the environment, and the classes and extra curricular activities were enough to keep me engaged. I'll be finishing up my master's degree in spring 2018 and am very grateful to that little Christian private school for giving me the courage and foundation I needed to succeed.
I love the fact that not only is it a great small school but they add Christ in it.

I wish more parents were involved in PTo. The kids love seeing me involved.
They do not just care about the students they care about the family also.
