Overall, South Iredell High School is an excellent school and I am so glad I attend this high school, as I have had great academic, athletic, artistic,
etc. experiences here! With the offerings of Honors, AP, and IB classes (which I currently am in the IB DP) there are so many opportunities to receive a great education here, along with SIHS offering many athletic and club opportunities, with influences of art, band, agriculture, service, and so much more! Our motto is service, innovation, honor, and success and the school does a great job of upholding this!

South Iredell is a excellent school filled with staff that wants the best for their students. South Iredell is split into two different pathways: the IB program and the traditional route. IB students take international baccalaureate classes to receive their DP or CP diploma while traditional students take normal classes such as honors and AP. South Iredell is a safe and welcoming community that welcomes all cultures, religions and ethnicities. There are over fifty clubs and groups who bring so much diversity and life to the campus. South Iredell might be an older school with older facilities, they have character and charm like no other. South prides itself on being innovative and community based. Students at South Iredell average over 250 plus hours of community service. There is no better educational and extracurricular experience like South Iredell's. Everyone here is awesome and we welcome you to join our Viking Family!
South Iredell High School has an enthusiastic staff that support students of all diversities in developing 21st century skills. The environment of the school is supportive of success in the classroom as well as encouraging service in our community. The wide variety of opportunities offered at SIHS give support for life skills, career related learning to university bound students. From lockdowns to the administration addressing the health concerns of the epidemic of vaping, I feel like South does its best to keep us safe as we are engaged in our academic path. I am proud to be a part of The Viking Nation!
