I enjoyed all of the students and teachers I have met here. It is a very friendly environment and I enjoy going to school every day. All the teachers are more than happy to help students whenever they need it and they do a good job preparing you for higher education. Along with that, there are a lot of activities that are fun to watch such as football games, basketball games, etc.
However, I would like to see the school culture improve. Yes, this school isn't recognized for being great athletically, but I feel a lack of motivation is the cause of this. Everyone has a fixed mindset that our school is bad at sports and that we will always lose. This keeps people from trying their best no matter what. If that mindset could change to one of more positive encouragement, I think that Waukesha South could achieve great things.

I personally loved South High School. However, it is lacking in some areas. Teachers care enough to push the students. The administration really doesn’t. There isn’t enough emphasis on arts. It’s pushed towards sports but we weren’t great at those either.
There are a lot of things I love about attending South. I am not distracted to go to South but I choiced into it for one reason, the culture. Waukesha South has a culture that the other schools in the Waukesha School District just don't have. There is so much diversity and so much love and acceptance which is hard to find, especially in high school. I had the privilege to participate in so many of the extra-curricular's at South, as there are numerous extra-curricular's offered. Additionally, students have the opportunity to form a community and express themselves as it is fairly simple to start your own club or activity at South. Overall, throughout my four years of attending this school, I was able to form relationships with many of my peers and educators, and I don't know that I could've done that at any place other than Waukesha South
