I am a current student at South but so far, my experience here has been amazing. The teachers and students here are all diverse and we all come from different backgrounds. Here at South, we are given many opportunities and activities to do. Students here are very closely bound. Also teachers and students here are all very open and welcoming. The school is also in my opinion, a very safe school. It has been great so far and I look forward to the time left I have at this beautiful school. Once a Spartan, always a Spartan!

South High School is a pretty average high school. It's definitely not the worst in the district, but could use some improvements. The campus is decent and open, although the students tend to leave things pretty messy. The teachers are often better than not, however there are some iconic teachers that are a little worse for wear. Even with the stricter teachers, they provide an environment that allows students to learn a lot of material--if they choose to pay attention. The school does it's best to involve it's students in a variety of activities and events such as pep-rallies and Class Comp--a school-wide event all allows all of the grade to come together and compete against one another, driving individual class pride as well as school pride.
South has many Honors and AP courses, which allowed me to really discover which subjects I could excel at and could not. Personally, I met three teachers that significantly influenced not only my personality but also my future career interests. I am glad I chose South High School. Also, their band is great!
