As a student at South Hagerstown High, I would rate my school 3/5 stars because there are changes needed. I will say that the staff and teachers are very kind and helpful, but the students are the main problem. There are many students that do not focus on their education and labels South Hagerstown as a bad school. There are many fights throughout the school year and students doing drugs in the bathrooms. I believe that our school needs stronger disciplinary actions towards those who violate school rules. Also I believe that there should be more rewards for students that are in good standing.

South Hagerstown High School is where I spent all 4 years of my high school career. Of course there were it’s ups and downs not overall this school helped me shape who I am. Especially the Avid program that is a part of the school that helped prepare students for getting prepared to go to college along with any extra help someone would need in order to go to the college they want. As I have been going to this school all of the teachers have a special place in my heart. And the clubs that I have attended all left a memory that will never leave. I feel I can be open and honest with my teachers, along with always having the opportunity to get extra help in my classes if I need it. This school has played a major role in my life, as any high school would, and has left a positive impact on my character. I find that every day I get closer to graduation is the more sad I become when I realize that I will leave all my teachers behind. But I know that they have lead me on a better path.
South Hagerstown High School has enrolled elite students from many countries, just as the state of Maryland has gathered the elites of every kind from all over the world. I consider it very important for me to have the opportunity to converse and be acquainted with capable people of different backgrounds, because then I not only be able to roundly improve myself in ability, but also extend my horizons. Studying experience in South Hagerstown High School demonstrates the good pedigree of a student like me. Finally, the chance to study under the guidance of learned and great teachers is very valuable for an aspiring student. To be qualified to hear their instructions is an honor, and what they teach have a healthy impact on students in their future careers.
