South Fork Junior/Senior High School Reviews
Rating 3.28 out of 5 29 reviews
I had a great experience at South Fork High School. It's located in a rural community and the school reflects that, with about 150 students attending the school when I graduated last year. Being a small school with little to no public funding, I thought that our school made the most of what we had. The few teachers that do stick around and stay at the school are great educators, and their years of experience allow them to connect with the students on a personal level. I felt that all of the faculty at South Fork really cared for the students and their well-being. With a lot of teacher turnover year after year, the education quality if hindered, and there are not many school clubs or arts programs at South Fork High School.
South fork high has been an alright experience. I enjoyed the social aspect of South Fork High the most. This high school is very small around 220 kids and its relativly easy to get to know everybody, and the class sizes are no where near big. I enjoy all the sports, especially varsity basketball. Cons of this school include having constant change in administration and teachers so nobody ever really figures out a plan that works because new plans are constantly being brought in. I have no math teacher and we just went online in November 3 months after school started. A lot of the students are entitled and I rarely learn anything in class, overall this school is disfunctional 5/10 would not reccomend.
South Fork is a very rural school, since we are so rural our teachers are a bit more understanding if we aren't there or we can't make it. I love the open campus, and the fact that we can walk around Miranda. One of the worst parts of my experience is when we get a whole class punishment for when one student does something. I would like to have more elective classes available, such as one's with cooking and animals.
