What I like about South El Monte High School are the teachers, the administration, the band, and just mostly how supportive the teachers are there. South El Monte High School is a great and amazing school to be in. I’ll guarantee you that you will have the best years in that high school. Honestly there aren’t hardly any needs of changes to the school rather than some of the lunch. As I’m almost going to be a Senior Class of 2021), SEMHS has made my years far the best. Overall, SEMHS is a trusting and the best school that I have ever been to. I would have to thank the teachers, the custodians, PTSA, and the administrators for having me to enjoy high school, and for making us the students enjoy high school.

Since it’s my 3rd year at south as a junior, I really love and enjoy being there because once you enter the school, it’s like a moment to remember. In my opinion I feel like South is a safe, and loyal place. Teachers and staff and Principle there are super nice and understanding plus lovable. Throughout my first and second year, it felt like a memorable experience and will help you in the future. As an Avid and marching band student, I learned so many things that I can and have applied in my life. At South there is nothing that can get you bored other than to have a lot of fun especially after-school activities that they do. But One thing that I would like to change would be the food, it’s not bad but some are good. Once again there is nothing that can get you bored at south other than have fun, even if you do little things, it will still be memorable because the little things matter in life. Can’t forget PTSA, they help us so much and are lovable people.
My experience in South El Monte High School is great. The classes are small enough so that teachers get to you and explain what you need help on. There are a lot of resources from which you can go to and ask for help, such as prep and tutoring from teachers. Both of these programs are offered after-school to help out students with their work. Additionally, ASB is making its best effort to make each school year special enough to make it a good memorable school year. There are also a lot of clubs and sports to join if a student wants to be part of a school organization. Overall, I recommend students to go to South El Monte High School and graduate from there because students get satisfying food, tutoring, sports, and clubs are available, and there is a lot of school spirit.
