I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at South Burlington High School. Overall, I received a well-rounded, thorough education, though I think I could have learned more about things like personal finance that are necessary to be a good adult. The teachers and administration are so kind and helpful, and it felt like I was supported through my four years inside the building. I wish I had participated in more school-wide events because I missed out on the South Burlington family. I met some of my best friends here, and I have so many good memories of having fun and learning. The AP curriculum is wonderful, and there are a variety of courses for all of your interests, including a robust visual and performing arts curriculum. I feel proud of calling South Burlington High School home. Go Wolves!

Overall, South Burlington High School is a great place to be. The teachers here are the most flexible around and they really take constructive criticism well. They are also willing to work with you if you have a conflict outside of school. The academics here are great! Each graduating senior knows that they are prepared for the worst college has to throw at them. But the school is small and it tends to fall short in places like the arts and sports. There is a small selection of sports that doesn't include swimming, diving, or water polo. But for the most part, students are invested in the athletics offered here.
However, the building has reached carrying capacity for students and is outdated. However, It has all of the academic resources the average student would need to be successful, as well as a culture and an administrative staff that will keep learning interesting and engaging for you throughout your four years of high school.
The teachers and faculty are amazing in teaching students and making sure they succeed within the school. However, I had rare experiences where a faculty member would help me get ready for the world outside of high school. I had a science teacher and the director of the Big Picture program help me figure out my path. The guidance office didn't offer me any opportunities or suggestions except to stop thinking about new situations because I wouldn't be accepted.

Side notes: The food was subpar. The only good tasting things were the potato salad, plain pasta, and eggs benedict.
Safety was high. Many security guards were walking around the school.
