My experience at South Broward high school was unforgettable. Thanks to my amazing teachers and peers, we all value education. Our principal, Ms. Brown, is open to student suggestions for activities to make schooling fun and loves us students to be included. Coming to school everyday was never dreadful. I felt safe and at home. I also enjoyed my extracurriculars offered here, such as volleyball, soccer, water-polo. I was parliamentarian of a club called Florida Future Educators of America. And finally, my biggest achievement was earning my CDA, (child development associate), which is a national certification that enables me to work with children ages 0-5. At South Broward, they offer a daycare program that students will learn and teach children of many ages. This is where I earned 300 service hours!

My experience at South Broward has been great. They offer the fun that all high schools should offer, such as homecoming and homecoming week, field trips, holiday celebration week, prom, etc. They have some of the best teachers there, who put in the hard work that's needed to teach high school students. Their education is great! I feel though that they definitely need to change the way that some of administration acts and does their job(s). South Broward had a few difficulties with administration during the school year of 2017-2018. Juniors were penalized the most due to some faculty and/or administration members not being very cooperative with them about student schedules and other issues that were needing tending to. Besides that, South Broward high school is a great school!
South Broward is a great school for any teen to attend. There is something here for everyone and provides an authentic high school experience. There are higher level programs, like Cambridge and Marine Magnet, that provide rigorous courses that induce critical thinking for the students. Currently I am in the Cambridge program and work extremely hard to keep consistent grades in my classes. There are countless sports like cheerleading, football, lacrosse, track, tennis, swimming, water polo, and much more. The students are what make South Broward great. People of all kind are here and it is especially easy to make friends. Anyone can attend South Broward and find something or someone that they enjoy here.
