I spent all my high school years attending this prestigious, college prep school who challenges every student and is always willing to help no matter what. The classes are fairly small, never exceeding 30 students, and the administration and parents are involved in their students academics. One thing I would want to see change is student involvement within the school. Since my school is fairly small compared to a Tucson public school it's challenging to get student participation in sports, clubs, and fundraising events. I would recommend Sonoran Science Academy Davis Monthan to any one I meet!

Sonoran Science Academy is a very prestigious school welcoming to students from 6th grade to their senior year of high school. The teachers do their best to provide every student with knowledge that will benefit them in the out side world. Not only do the teachers spend every day focused on their student, but theyou provide such an warm, comfortable and welcoming environment that makestrel learning more relaxed and easier. However, since it is a small school only consisting of about 300 determined future changing students, the school lacks funds in most areas. Students poor their hearts out into fundraisers in hope of gaining enough money to purchase certain equipment for a sport or club. It would be amazing to see the student body purchase equipment or club shirts without the hassle and sometimes disappointment of not raising enough money.
While the facilities, resources, and overall material quality of the school itself may well not be too high, going to this school is an intriguing experience. Events are middling, sports are basically nonexistent (though good where they are), but classes are incredibly fulfilling. The teachers here are clearly passionate, both regarding their subjects and regarding teaching at large.
