I legitimately loved attending this school. The academics were great, and so were the teachers. They even had a Social and Emotional Learning class to help with mental health. I felt like I was allowed and encouraged to be myself there. This school really got me excited for learning, which is a feeling I hold near to myself to this very day.

This school takes bullying as seriously as possible, not that it's been an issue. Our daughter started here late (7th grade) and we were worried that her transition would be difficult because middle school kids are not known for being the most friendly. We had NO problems at all. Kids were extremely welcoming. Safety has never been a concern of ours in the year we've been there.
SCDS did a good job of academically preparing me for high school, but socially it was so isolated and small I felt ill prepared.
