Needs more programs and support for students. Has some great teachers for upperclassmen! Some of the office staff could be better at supporting students. The campus isn't very big but its a good size for students to learn and make friends with classmates. Only excellent for a select amount of sports, so research beforehand. Overall, I've had a great experience and been accepted to some great schools.

SACM is the best school in Miramar, Florida. At Somerset Academy Cental Miramar, I had a hand in planning my education. My CAP advisor, Mrs. M. Bailey, was really dedicated and supportive in helping to select classes that were going to be beneficial to me in my future career choices. All of teachers also really cared. They keep me informed on my progress in their classes. The office staff is the best. They alway welcome me with a smile and assisted in anyway that was needed. My student activities were planned throughout the school year. More importantly, parents are encouraged to participate in their children's education.
My first year at somerset academy I went for 6th grade, left, and came back for 9th. I am now currently a sophomore. The teachers here are amazing. They really do care for us all and always find the best way to teach us, they will always tell you when they are available if you need any extra help. Of course I'm not saying they are perfect and neither am i saying that we, the students, don't complain about our teachers. Of course we do, but so does everyone else. But have u ever stopped to realize that our complaints are usually about the amount of work, homework, and the subject itself. But they go above and beyond, you might even find yourself fond of them and want to talk with then ever so often. They have a humor side of them that keeps us up and they understand us. Then there are the clubs and teams. I'm in the marching band color guard, at the moment, and it's one of the best things I've ever done. The band and guard have become like a 2nd family and that includes the staff, instructors, and director. We love them very much and me make sure of that. Then there's our principle, he's GREAT! You can talk to him about personal problems or just talk, you can laugh and joke with him, and he's always got a smile on his face. He looks out for us and he understands us as well. Even some of our security guards. So yea staff, teachers, principle, etc they're all there.
