What I liked about Somerset was its dedicated staff and its small class sizes which allowed for a more personalized approach to education with each student. In other words, the small class sizes provided teachers with the perfect opportunity to focus on each individual student’s needs and receive feedback on their method of teaching. What I didn’t like about Somerset was its limited educational/extracurricular programs which put hundreds of students at a disadvantage compared to regular public schools that offer their students a multitude of said programs from which to choose from. I personally believe they should consider implementing more programs in the near future if possible.

While I can truthfully say that my theatre experience here was like any other and that I am grateful for all the hardwork and dedication our theatre department had for their students, I am not exactly too keen on the idea that it was okay for teachers to tell students that they were not capable of having a successful future, nor okay with teachers quite literally spouting the word "idiot" at the students. This causes for emotions to gradually spiral, and confidence being lost can become an enormous impact against a person that is about to step foot into their college years of education. We also eventually lost our library, and that took a toll on the few of us that enjoyed a quiet sanctuary to ourselves to indulge in creative writing and fiction.
Somerset academy Charter High School is a great School that provides me with many resources to better myself. The teachers truly care about the their students and strives to help them. The counselors are always available if help is ever needed . My only complaint would about the food served during lunch but besides that, its a Steller school.
