Three schools were offered as potential special needs placements. My son is adhd/on spectrum and just turned 7 this week. He has had potty issues part of his emotional deregulation due to sensory problems. He is wearing pull ups currently due to conditions under gastroenterologist and other specialists. He has a doctors note and was handling this through nurses office at public school. This school flat out denies entry based on pull ups for a child. I just can’t believe other autistic children don’t have this situation at this age? He is having most of his behavioral issues in the public school setting and he can’t attend there either. We have a couple other options but I’m disappointed/disgusted with this place. I’d give one star but I don’t know how they are once the child enters their care and there are no reviews about it. Just poor reviews in working there so I imagine we are probably better off anyway.
My grandson loves going to school now and his grades and behavior have improved dramatically. Mr Johnson is an engaging and skilled teacher. He knows how to bring out the best in his students.
