Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County Reviews

2 reviews
We have 3 children in Solomon Schechter ranging from 1st grade to middle school and we couldn't be happier with our decision to invest in our children by sending them to this school. Most importantly they are happy, but we also see how they are flourishing academically, socially and Jewishly and we couldn't be prouder of them and of how the school is nurturing them to be well rounded people and part of a larger community. We have had only wonderful experiences with the faculty and administration and I can't recommend this school highly enough.

I am a graduate of the Solomon Schecter Day School and my experience there was overall decent. There are some aspects of the school that I didn't enjoy as much as others. The strong Jewish community is a great way to spend your childhood and learn to grow as a Jewish person. This is a primarily Jewish school where academics are taken seriously in their dual curriculum. There is half of the day spent learning English subjects, and the other half learning Hebrew subjects. The school is very involved with each student as an individual. the school is a low diversified environment. But overall it is a great school if you are certain you are looking for a Jewish environment.
