I loved snow canyon! It was amazing! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am a very musical person. And during covid when it came down to either having a sports game or a musical concert those nights, they always chose the sports games. The musical concerts were always canceled or rescheduled and then canceled again. We got just about no time to show our families and friends our accomplishments. It felt pretty unfair.
I only went to SCHS for my senior year because I had moved from northern utah. I was extremely scared that it was going to be the worst school year that I had because I am not very good at making friends. However, the teachers here were some of the best I've ever had! The students here also made it much better than expected. I was able to make friends faster than expected and my counselor helped me out with a few problems that I came across throughout the year. Although it was scary starting my senior year in a completely new place, the people in the school made it a year to remembst. This amazing year wouldnt have been possible if it werent for Snow Canyon and the amazing people that I met throughout the year. Whether they were a teacher or a friend, I gained a lot of knowledge and experienced some amazing things!
I love being at Snow Canyon because there is so much diversity, a lot of the teachers are kind and supportive. Overall it is an accepting school. I think it would be amazing if the music department could receive a little more financial support. I have made so many friends at Snow Canyon and being in the Madrigals has impacted my life in so many ways. I learned life long skills and developed my own personality while attending school here. I am also very grateful for the amazing counselors who have helped me get ready to graduate early. They always made time to listen to my questions an concerns. I love Snow Canyon!
