The students and the faculty at Smyrna are so emerged in school spirit which is so amazing and very contagious. Smyrna really cares about its students especially now in this time of uncertainty, Smyrna has made it an extreme priority that they support their seniors who were completely heart broken by the sudden change are world had been emerged into. The teachers are also very kind and it is evident through their dedication that they truly care about their student inside and outside of the class room. One change i would love to see is more school run fundraisers to raise money for the whole school whether it would be put towards repainting the chipped walls or redecorating the cafeteria. Other than that, Smyrna High is an amazing environment and I am proud to call myself a bulldog!

Smyrna High school has been nothing short of welcoming. As a new student from Ghana, certain practices were new to me and l felt lost.l missed home so much. Some of the teachers were very empathetic and shared stories of how it felt to be completely lost and how hard it must have been for me. The students are really friendly and open to diversification. They show great school spirit when it comes to events like football and basketball games. In terms of art, the students are extremely gifted. Most importantly, Smyrna High makes sure their students are prepared for the world outside of high school.Students are encouraged to pursue their passions. I believe Smyrna High is an amazing school that will make groundbreaking achievements in the years to come.
Smyrna High School is a public school with about 2,000 students enrolled. With 2,000 students, everyday things can be very heck tick. Walking in the hallways, you're bound to run into someone, whether it be a frantic freshman or a sappy couple. Lunchtime might be the most crazy. Smyrna high is so packed, so we have to have 4 different lunches. Don't be confused; depending on which class you're in, is which lunch you'll have. There's about 500 people rushing through 6 lines to get their food. Did i mention you only have 30 minutes to eat? That's insane. The best part about Smyrna High aside from the cookies, the teachers! They all have such a passion to see their students strive, make good grades, and learn. They have inspired me to care for others and put their needs into perspective. The only thing i would change is the amount of time for lunch because by the time you go through the lunch line, you only have 10 minutes to eat.
