Smoky Valley High School is an institution where I feel safe and validated. The teachers are knowledgeable and always willing to lend a helping hand. Furthermore, they are eager and enthusiastic about teaching. The students are easy to get along with, and it's nice to know almost everyone.
The athletic department at Smoky Valley fosters integrity, pride, and hard work, but also companionship and humility.
Smoky Valley also offers many musical opportunities as well as club opportunities, so there is always something for someone!

This school is all around very inclusive, it is very much a place that you can make a mistake and still rebound from it. The teachers are very caring and understanding. They will work with you, if you are struggling. The food is school food, so it is school food. The sports teams are always at a standing that people will respect the athletes. It is a school that most people might drive by and not think much of from the outside, but from the inside it is very easy to call home.
I really loved my experience at Smoky Valley. It was a place where I could really grow and thrive. My teachers were all extremely supportive of me, and I felt at home when I walked through the halls. My grades were all above average--4.0 on a 4.0 scale--and I think my teachers are mainly to thank for that as well as the supportive students. There are a lot of opportunities to pursue more than one course at Smoky Valley despite its size, and the faculty does everything in their power to create a really great atmosphere for the students.
