I have enjoyed my current school! The environment is very positive and comforting, and there are many staff members who have very positively impacted me. My teachers have very much helped me understand content very well and I thank them for my good grades. My counselor has been very kind and open to the many questions I ask. Along with that the school has many extracurriculars like clubs and sports, and holds many events for a variety of different things. Job fairs, diversity events, and many school pride events.
Smoky is the best out of all the Cherry Creek School district. So much opportunity for memories, and growth into being a fine adult. Many clubs, sports and activities to participate in! Different levels of classes for everyone. Many of the clubs constantly participate in helping the community such as the Make A Wish week. There really is so much opportunity at this school and not just for the outgoing types. If you want to go to a good college, go here. They have the options for you to stand out against the thousands of other applicants. But even if thats not your goal, they still will support you with other resources. Truly, an amazing school. Go Buffs!
Smoky Hill was a great place to get my first true high school experience, which didn't happen up until my junior year due to Covid-19. In my junior year, I had many firsts that included my first homecoming, my first football game, my first basketball game, my first prom, and many more. What made that experience so great was the culture that Smoky Hill has created. The idea of being a Smoky Hill buffalo meant that you had to eat, sleep, and breath Smoky Hill. Academically, I found all of my teachers to be great and I never found myself having any problems. My teachers were all super easy to talk to, and were by far more than willing to. Athletically, the sports experience is as good as it gets, as there are always crowds at the games cheering our team on, and cheering our team on loudly. The resources the school provides I also believe is second to none. Our counselors are great, always making sure we are on the right path to graduate and helping us find our pathway post high school.
