I am a currently a senior at Smithfield High, and I have attended this school for four years now. As a Freshman (or New Student) Mentor for this school, all I can say is that Smithfield High is a terrific school. This school is a great place for students to make great friends as well as develop great connections with peers and staff. Teachers are very friendly and offer great lessons, including PBL and other forms of engaging activities. Students there are competitive in academics and especially, sports. Go Packers!

My experience with Smithfield High School has been very good! I have been a straight A student throughout my high school career thanks to the wonderful teachers and staff. There have been numerous teachers who have greatly impacted my high school experience. From needing advice, to helping with college applications, SHS has been great through it all.
I've been going to Smithfield High School since I was a freshman. Smithfield is a very small town, which the community is very involved in with school events, like football, basketball and soccer games. We have a very diverse school with a lot of extra - curricular activities. Our school is beyond filled with school spirit and packer pride. Two years ago they put in their own CTE program ( trades school) which consist of a cosmetology program, culinary program, nursing program, agriculture program, building and trades and welding. They are still expanding on more programs they would like to install. I think this decision was an amazing idea for the students that attend Smithfield High, because it gives the students another opportunity in life other then going to college. With completing these programs you will also earn your license in some example: cosmetology school.
