I am a currently a senior at Smithfield High, and I have attended this school for four years now. As a Freshman (or New Student) Mentor for this school, all I can say is that Smithfield High is a terrific school. This school is a great place for students to make great friends as well as develop great connections with peers and staff. Teachers are very friendly and offer great lessons, including PBL and other forms of engaging activities. Students there are competitive in academics and especially, sports. Go Packers!
My experience with Smithfield High School has been very good! I have been a straight A student throughout my high school career thanks to the wonderful teachers and staff. There have been numerous teachers who have greatly impacted my high school experience. From needing advice, to helping with college applications, SHS has been great through it all.
Smithfield High School is a very diverse, accepting, and an overall wonderful learning environment. From the staff to the students, this school welcomes you with open arms. Smithfield has all kinds of clubs and different programs for all types of interests students may have. They have partnered with the Governor School of the Arts and the Governor School of Science and Technology and allow students to apply and alter schedules to provide students with the best opportunity to succeed. Smithfield is caught up on keep students intrigued with learning, they provide technology for students to use at school and home for class and daily usage. The teachers and staff always look for the best interest for their students and engage with parents/families regularly, Smithfield is an amazing place to go.
