The Sleepy Hollow High School Experience is like no other. One of the things that makes us very unique is the diversity in the school! Everyone is from various parts of the world, yet we all get along and have a good time. Another thing thats great about Sleepy Hollow High School as I've heard from current alums in college is how the teachers prepare you for college. Our school culture is one thing that makes us different from the rest. Being in Sleepy Hollow during October is sure a treat. We attract a lot of tourists and our spirit week is in October. That includes getting ready for the big homecoming football game on saturday, getting together as a grade and decorating the hallways and dressed up according to what theme it is that day. We are nationally recognized because of our mascot The Headless Horseman. Only thing I would change is the food, the food is average.

In my opinion, Sleepy Hollow High School is an amazing High School to attend. The teachers and staff are always there to help and support students. The atmosphere here at Sleepy is quite interesting to some students and staff but it's just how it runs here. The amount of programs and equipment that the school buys for the students is astonishing. It just shows how much the staff cares about the student's success. Students can get along with others in clubs, sports, and after-school activities. There's not much to change around the school other than phone rules, hats, school lunch, and or student parking.
Based on my experience in Sleepy Hollow High School, it's been a wonderful experience shared by friends and teachers. As a Senior Applying to colleges, professional councilors make sure your college ready before fall of senior year. In addition, the one thing when entering and leaving Sleepy Hollow High School is the school spirit. Both Boys and Girls Sports are really competitive and energetic especially, Football, Basketball, Soccer and Wrestling. Academically, its really good to send your child here to get hands on advance learning (Continually getting better).
