Frist I made the choice to switch my high school and go to Skyview instead of Fort based off sports interests at the time. But found that Skyview High school had great teachers that seemed to care and push my harder to achieve more. This was the same in the Sports culture there as well. Of corse, there were occasional fights between students but facility handled it well always. The school i believe is the newest public high school building in the are defiantly newest in the district. The college bound area next to the commons is a great place to learn about schools, scholarships, work study programs, even technical schools if the traditional route isn't for you. Also colleges visit throughout the year from all over the country, but mostly Oregon and Washington schools. Overall quality of school is great but of corse there is room for improvement!

Skyview High School is a solid school with great teachers and resources, but there are a lot of people that go to this school, so if you are claustrophobic or introverted, this will definitely bring you out of your shell. The music program is outstanding— I highly recommend it for those thinking about indulging in that field. New, more intriguing courses are added nearly every year, such as crime fiction or sports medicine. The SMT program is nice, but it’s not really a place to goof around. If you want to be a part of the STEM program, you have to earn your right to be there. Some teachers have their quirks, but you will figure out what learning situation works best for you. They staff community try to impose an inclusive atmosphere and positive attitude. Shout out to the best math teacher and cross country coach anyone could ever ask for, Mr. Bob Brands.
During my years at Skyview, I found many opportunities that helped me make my career dreams and aspirations truly real. The GEAR UP and leadership class I was a part of allowed me to search and investigate colleges and narrow down the one I wanted to go to and also helped me apply for many scholarships that have helped me stay in college!
