Sky Valley Education Center is the best school out there! I seriously could not have gone to a better school! I spent 1st-12th grade attending this school and have loved every minute of it! The teachers are THE BEST! They love theur students and do everything in their power to make sure ALL of their students succeed. On top of fantastic teachers, the students are all good kids too. The highschoolers know to respect the younger children and parents which i think is awesome! All 4 of my younger siblings also attend this school and love it! Highly recommended!
Good support for students planning to attend community college or state schools. Very homogeneous population - majority of students and parents were white, Christian, and conservative. Administration was absolutely wonderful - incredible counseling and administrative staff cared about each student and their individual success. Academic rigor was lacking but high-achieving students were supported in finding other challenges including dual-enrollment programs
Sky Valley Education Center is more than just a school- it's a community. Faculty and families alike have created an environment where students are allowed to really explore themselves academically, creatively, and personally. Through this program students are able to cultivate skills to shape themselves into truly unique individuals. This individuality is not only accepted, but appreciated at Sky Valley.
On top of this rare culture, Sky Valley provides tools that allow students to better prepare for college. The class schedule is very reminiscent of college courses, and urges students to hold themselves accountable in order to achieve success. In addition, Sky Valley allows access to other programs, such as Running Start and Sno-Isle, to further their student's education and better their futures .
All in all, I believe that Sky Valley Education Center didn't make me into who I am today, but instead equipped me with tools that allowed me to shape myself.
