Something I liked about Charter was that the teachers were very helpful and willing to prepare you for college. At first, I was sceptical about attending because it was a small school. I learned that the smaller the school is the better because, you connect more with the teachers. One thing I would change about Charter would be the lunch! Other than that Charter is a great high school to attend.

Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in East Saint Louis needs many things to change about it, the administration always seems to have an awful attitude and tends to take it out on the students attending school here. We have a dress code policy that all students are supposed to abide by but when it comes to administration's favorite students they don't and won't even bat an eye in their direction. The teachers at this school don't even really know what they’re doing half the time, the food is half the time less than edible (resembles jail slop), we don't have any actual extracurricular activities, we barely have any encore classes, and lastly our entire school is basically one hallway.
I enjoy the fact that the school is small, its a better learning opportunity for some. I also love that they make sure that you get an opportunity to get into a good college. They make sure you have a chance at the scholarships, the financial aid,and they give you a chance to expand your view. Theye are very strict when it comes to rules but I believe that it's all for the better. The rules for example are about being on time and I think it's good for us to learnot things like that now. All in all I think that this is a great school
