When I was pregnant in high school and didn't know what to do Simpson was the answer. They are very accommodating to pregnant women and understanding towards young mothers. I just wish some of the courses were more rigorous, there were extra curricular, and more help with college process I've had little help.

Before I came to this school, I attended Proviso Math and Science Academy. I got pregnant at a young age and I was known as the pregnant girl. I stood out like a sore thumb because there wasn't anyone else with a baby on the way. My friends stood by my side to the end but I was so uncomfortable there. The teachers/ staff didn't give a heck about me or my unborn child. I had to make a move and find somewhere better. I did research and Simpson Academy appeared, I called and asked about getting in and that September I was enrolled and my two month old daughter was enrolled in their daycare sponsored by Salvation Army. My junior year was a challenge and a BLESSING. I build relationships with caring and kind women. When I reach the top and look back the staff at Simpson academy is who I will Thank.
The school and their teachers provide us with everything we need as far as our kids go. When teaching the teachers make sure every student understands what he or she is doing. When we need extra help the teachers are willing to give it to us. If we are failing a class the teachers give us a chance to make it up. They are here to support us in out need and not judge us. As far as communication it's perfect. If they see something wrong with us they come pull us to the side and speak to us. When it's something we really need the teacher put their all into trying to get it for you. All they ask is your respect that they give you. For you to come to school everyday and on time. For you to want to be somone big I'm life. They are here to push us forward so this school is a five rank in my book.
