First the positive...Silver Creek CSD does an average to above average job at the elementary and middle school ages . Sadly, the high school is a completely different story. There are a number of teachers and administrators in the district that seem to be indifferent to their respective chosen professions. This translates into many unruly and unmotivated students and equals a poor learning environment. Given the fact that Silver Creek is a smaller rural district you would think there would be a better sense of community...not the case.

I love how small Silver Creek High School is, it really allows you to build a close relationship with the teachers. The teachers are always more than willing to help no matter what the situation is. Another thing I like about my high school is how close everyone is.
Silver Creek is a very small school, therefore there are pros and cons about this. Some good things about attending a small school is that we are all united. Everyone knows each other, and for the most part everyone gets along with each other. You grow up with the same kids and you get to know each other very well. The cons are that once someone finds something out, soon the whole school knows. Because rate school is so small, everything gets out whether you want it to or not. I would choose this school over again, because I like how we all fit in together. I have had a great sports career here and would love to start over again. Also I love the fact that the teachers get to know their students personally and are able to fit their personal needs better, because they don't have very many students.
