When I attended Silver Creek High School, I connected on an amazing level with the staff. They were understanding, fair, kind, and genuinely cared about their students.
The sports games were fun and inviting it really brought together the school and there was a great spirit. I still attend all of my sister's games today and alums come back and watch games, everyone cheers and there was never any fighting of malicious behavior.
I also got to take a wide variety of classes like film photography and programming. My college today does not even have a dark room it is something I really appreciated. The arts were also well funded and I always felt like they were a priority as well.

I love Silver Creek! The people are great and the teachers are really dedicated to helping everyone learn. There is a good variety of classes to take, so you can have a personalized experience and decide what classes you take as well as how advanced they are. There are lots of sports and clubs to join, and it is fun to play as well as watch. I wish there were more dances and assemblies, and more schoolwide spirit activities.
Silver Creek is not the place to go for a good college prep experience. Math department is horrendous, apart from one teacher who just retired which furthers the issue. We do not have enough college level classes (No Calc BC, No Physics 2 or C, No AP micro or macro), so people are forced to attend community college even if they're not that ahead of their class. School itself is relatively well kept, and the counselors seem like they try to be helpful, but they are unprepared. If you try to start the college process early, they do not know what to do and some systems won't even run after the college application is out.
