Silver Bluff highschool changed tremendously from when i was in highschool and graduated in 2017. The four years I was there, from watching my older brother and my sister alumni of the school when they attended, school spirit was more broad and more outgoing. Over the years, the teachers changed, good teachers transitioned to better opportunities or retired, and then teachers that were more focused on paychecks remained. Not all, but there is majority just paycheck teachers. The school spirit begin to lessen and was told due to student discipline in the past was the reason why. A lot of things changed for worse than for better.

Silver Bluff High School is one of the many great schools located in Aiken, South Carolina. What makes Silver Bluff so great is the faculty and staff that work so diligently to ensure that every student is guaranteed a safe and functional learning environment. I am a rising Junior at Silver Bluff and so far, I can say that I have enjoyed my time here at Silver Bluff. The variety of clubs and organizations offer exciting activities to remain busy after school such as working the concession stand at basketball games. And speaking of basketball, we just had an amazing basketball season for both girls and boys. But overall, I have very high expectations and Silver Bluff has met them.
My experience at Silver Bluff High School was honestly a learning and growing experience. Freshman academy is a bit rigorous, but it helps freshmen blend in and learn the environment of the school. The faculty are very friendly as long as you are willing to work with them - and as a student, you can make friends with teachers and other staff! Taking advantage of different organizational opportunities such as the NJROTC program or athletics, or even FCA meetings and community service involvement through Key Club and Beta Club can allow freshmen a start at growing individually and communally. Athletics have been a growing progress since volleyball, basketball, and Track & Field have been under great improvement! A wonderful experience and one to enjoy as you grow into the Bulldog Spirit!
