Very complex curriculum, but worth it. Silva really helps make outstanding students who are constantly under pressure but this helps relief the college pressure and definitely gets you ready for it. Would recommend to any students interested in the medical field as the magnet take you on clinical rotations where every student part-takes and get to see surgeries, dental cleanings, physical therapy, and more!
This school offers classes that focus on the health care field, and has programs that prepare students for career pathways in this field. Nursing, dentistry, veterinarian technician, pharmacy technician, sports medicine, among many others, which all allow students the opportunity to get jobs in these fields by graduation. This includes the LVN program in which students have nursing school and high school at the same time!
My freshmen year was pretty basic nothing special. However, sophomore year I was excited to go all in with my high school experience, except it wasn't all that easy at first. I was expecting a high curriculum and inviting, helpful, spirited environment. For the most part it was okay, there was a lot of of unnecessary stress brought upon by the teachers, it was reflected on the students all throughout school for my next three years. I was and still am a very dedicated student, nothing has managed to deter my craving to learning. Because, even if there was plenty of negative vibes in the school itself, select teachers would go above an beyond to make sure kids were happy in the class and in their mind. If one is looking for a school that only focuses on college preparedness i would 10/10 recommend. High school is not all about grades, I learned that the hard way; it is about finding your happiness, making mistakes, learning, not just textbook learning but proper mental growth.
