Sierra Vista High School, a school that teaches you about grown people and that teaches you how to grow. There are thousands of things I like and love about this school. To begin with, it is a very competitive school both in sports and academia. Participate in some sports, including: Cross Country, Track and the most important of all; soccer, we did what seemed impossible, for the first time in the history of this school we won CIF and the State championship, something wonderful. If there is one thing I would like to change from school it would be security in the bathrooms, there are many children who come in to do bad things and have to make disasters in the bathroom. And perhaps other things that I would like to change is the support for other sports. In all the years that I was in school, football was always the sport that has been the center of attention of the directors and principals. I wish they were the same with all sports. I would recommend Sierra Vista High School to anyone

Sierra Vista High School is a relatively unknown school in the Southern California area. Although it is relatively unknown, SVHS is constantly trying to improve its campus, from staff to the programs that it offers at the school. SVHS has been on an upward trend in recent years, such as starting Dual enrollment with the local community college and drastically improving its sports facilities and programs. The new principal of SVHS is making a monumental effort to improve SVHS, dedicating his time to interacting with the students on campus as well as getting programs passed to better the campus and benefit the students of SVHS.
I liked the elective classes offered. They made me consider a new pathway in life, such as majoring in psychology. I also liked the amount and variety of clubs. There was something for everybody. I was able to build strong relationships with some of my teachers which was nice to be able to have someone who you trust to go to on campus. Something I would change is discipline. I feel it is not equal between boys and girls, especially for dress code. Another thing I would change is the way ASB spots are filled. I think it should be the teacher interviewing candidates rather than students because that can put an unfair advantage to their friends. Overall, Sierra Vista is a good school.
