I had a great experience at this school, the teacher I had was always giving me positive affirmations daily and wanted to see his student graduate. The teacher gave me advice on applying for college and would always take time to sit with his students and make sure they are on track or need help. I will never forget Mr. Reid an thank him for being the best teacher and role model to his students.

Since it is an independent studies program, the relationships between teachers and students can be better. Teachers are willing to create a lasting relationship with their students and are genuinely concerned with the students' academics. Other staff at the school are very friendly and helpful, I almost always saw a smile on everyone's face. This program is definitely one for students who are mostly self-motivated and for students who stay on top of their schoolwork. A great thing about this school is that students are capable of completing high school earlier than they would at a regular public school, since the students move at their own pace. One thing that I would recommend is to have more activities and events available to students. There is no prom or student events like that since the school is pretty small. However, more field trips and other things like volunteer opportunities would make Sierra Vista even better.
The teachers are the best. They help you with everything you need and its extremely easy to make up credits if you put your all into it. You'll never feel like you cant make it at Sierra Vista.
