Shorewood is a pretty accepting community, and the students are nice enough. If you're the new kid, you'll be jumped on (if you seem nice enough), since we've been in school with each other for forever and are kind of bored with everyone in our grade. The food is good enough, and the a la carte is nice for lunch, but everything in it is overpriced. The dress code is barely even there. I've only been dress coded once, but if your outfit says something bad on it, then you'll be asked to cover it up. Some teachers are very good, but others are either rude/annoying or can't teach their subject really well. The science teachers are very good and care about what they're teaching. We're pretty serious about our sports and have won a lot of medals. There are only a few kids who I've heard do drugs, but it seems like they just want to sound cool and don't really. My grade isn't too great though, and the grades below us just seem to be getting more annoying. Overall, Shorewood isn't the worst.
Very Good School great academics and teachers are very nice and helpful They are very nice and kind there too and have some very smart kids and are very good at everything.
This school sucks donkey balls. As a girl who has been bullied, the school does nothing about it, makes YOU sound like the bad guy for fighting back and reporting it, and the academics are sub-par at best. Almost everyone in my homeroom doesn't have a grade higher than a B-. Kids are sneaking vodka and other substances into school, banging on doors, and screaming in the hallways during classes. The food is worse than military rations (on an average day we get cold, slimy meat in a tortilla or an egg patty; if we're lucky we get mozzarella sticks), and to top it all off, almost every other week there's a fight going on between students, whether it be middle schooler to middle schooler or middle schooler to high schooler. I mean, seriously, students have been BANNED from going to any nearby restaurants for lunch because students kept going into the establishments to start fights and mess the place up. Things need to change before this school becomes a healthy place for kids to learn.
