Our son is thriving at school! He loves his teacher and we love the fact that she continues to challenge and engage him academically. At SCS there is intentional care for the whole person - so while academics are important so is his spiritual, emotional and social health. The teachers are excellent and have the freedom to innovate in the classroom and share their faith with their students. Everything is taught from a Christian worldview which lines up with how we talk about the world at home and mirrors what he learns at church. Love it!
Review Shoreline Christian School
The classes are small enough to offer individual attention but big enough for friendships. My kids class is very close and cares for one another, no one is left out. They have a great culture of inclusion and achievement and are God loving kiddos. My kids have loved each and every teacher they have had so far (in 5th grade at time of this review.) I appreciate the attention given to the arts and music - top notch teachers in those areas. They love to go to school each and every day. This is a salt of the earth school and we like that, if you want "private school status" this is not the place. If you want a place your kid can come and be loved by all each day and supported regardless of different ability, this is the place.
This school is small but you won't ever find teachers than care more about their students than at SCS. The students have so many opportunities to be involved in leadership, athletics, worship etc. The academics are challenging but help is readily available for those who struggle. Our family has been blessed to be a part of the SCS community.
