I am a junior at Shoreland, and I very much enjoy going to school there. The teachers all care about each individual student - and not only their academic welfare, but also their Spiritual and emotional welfare. In fact, the teacher-led after-school work out program for out-of season athletes - which is free for all students - makes me say that the teachers are also looking out for the best of the physical welfare of the students.
This school holds true to the truths of God's Word, and for that I am very thankful. One can expect to find a group of students here that are devoted to their academic success, and the school's STEM program makes it evident that this school is working hard to be a good stepping stone to a quality college.
After speaking to my public-schooled friends, I realize that I am very blessed to be enrolled here, and I know that this school is a much better school than a public school.

Safe environment, small class sizes, individual support, and a strong religious component are some of the biggest positives about Shoreland. Being such a small school however there was few course options, and quite a few of the courses seemed watered down pertaining to the curriculum. Overall I would highly recommend it over the public high schools in the area.
Shoreland really shows care to the students, the teachers know everyone by name and everyone gets along very well. Since the school is small, there are not many students, it creates a very close community of students who are all connected and experiencing the same things. One thing that Shoreland can work better on is listening to the students' advice and giving them more of a say in what goes on in daily school life.
